Hosting, database, AI (Ovi) and roof data for the whole platform. These are our costs, not a price to customers. All companies share one database and one app, so most of the bill doesn't grow with each new company. The AI and roof data are what grow with use.
Work it out
Move the sliders. Usage is how hard people lean on Ovi and the design studio: low is a few Ovi questions a day, average about 25, high about 80 plus lots of designs.

What these numbers assume
Database (Supabase Pro): £20 a month for the plan, with the smallest server included. A bigger server is added as total users grow: Small (+£12) past 40 users, Medium (+£48) past 150, Large (+£87) past 400. Database space: 8 GB included, then about 10p per GB. File space (photos, documents): 100 GB included, then about 2p per GB. We allow about 3 GB of files per company per month.
Hosting (Cloudflare): £4 a month for Workers Paid. This covers the app, scheduled jobs and website tracking, with 10 million requests included and about 24p per extra million. We allow about 30,000 requests per user per month.
Ovi (Claude Haiku 5.5): about 0.1p per everyday question, measured on 8 Oct after the switch to Haiku. Heavier jobs (drafting 3 design options, reading a roof, writing a report) cost about 1.5p each. Per user per month that's roughly low £0.25 (≈110 questions + 5 heavy jobs), average £1.00 (≈550 + 25), high £3.50 (≈1,750 + 80). If Ovi ran on Opus instead, the AI line would be about 50–90× higher.
Roof data (Google Solar / Maps): about 8p per design. Designs per company per month: low 10, average 60, high 200. Google's free monthly allowances aren't counted, so this is on the safe side.
Test copy (staging): about £8 a month: one more small database server, plus the same Cloudflare account.
Not included, because each company already pays for these or they're free: email (it goes through each company's own Google or Microsoft mailbox), calls and texts (JustCall or their own provider), sign-in emails (Resend's free allowance), domain names, and our own development time.
Exchange rate $1 = £0.79. The AI line is the least certain: the Ovi test pack hasn't been re-run on Haiku yet, so check it against the first real month's bills.
